Six ways we protect your account
Official Meta API, full stop
Slydn integrates exclusively through Meta's approved Instagram Messaging API. Every action — reading a comment, sending a DM — goes through the same endpoint Instagram itself uses. No browser automation, no cookie stealing, no reverse-engineered private APIs.
Rate limits enforced, not bypassed
Meta defines daily and hourly message limits for every account tier. Slydn tracks each account's usage in real time and automatically paces sends to stay under those limits — even when you're running multiple automations at once. You see live meters in your dashboard.
Your password is never stored
Authentication happens through Meta's official OAuth flow. Slydn receives a scoped access token — never your password. That token can be revoked from Instagram's Security settings at any time, instantly disconnecting Slydn from your account.
No spam patterns, ever
Slydn deduplicates messages so the same user never receives the same DM twice from a single automation. We enforce cooldown windows between messages to the same recipient, and we flag automations that approach Meta's per-user messaging thresholds.
Team access without credential sharing
Instead of handing a VA your password, you invite them with scoped permissions inside Slydn. They access only the areas you allow. A full activity audit log records every action, so you always know who did what.
Own your data
Export your automations, templates, and message logs as JSON at any time. If you ever leave Slydn, your data leaves with you — nothing is locked in.

You authorise via Meta
Clicking 'Connect Instagram' opens an official Meta OAuth dialog — hosted on facebook.com. Slydn never sees the form.

Meta issues a scoped token
Meta returns a token that grants Slydn read access to comments and the ability to send DMs on your behalf. Nothing else.

You stay in control
Revoke access any time in Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites. Slydn loses access immediately — no residual permissions.
