Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 27, 2026
Slydn is operated by Crosshair Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office at Delhi, India. Crosshair Technologies LLP ("we", "us", or "our") is the data controller for personal data processed through the website at https://slydn.com and the application at app.slydn.com, and is the entity responsible for data we receive from Meta Platforms, Inc.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create a Slydn account, we collect your email address, name, and payment information (processed by our payment provider — we never store full card details).
Instagram connection data
When you connect an Instagram account, Meta issues Slydn a scoped OAuth access token. We store this token (encrypted at rest) to operate automations on your behalf. We never receive or store your Instagram password.
Through this token we can access: your post comments, your DM threads with users who have messaged you first or commented on your content, and your account analytics. We access only what is necessary to operate the features you have enabled.
AI content analysis
Where you enable our AI features, we send the content of your Instagram posts — captions, media metadata, and, for video posts, the audio track for automated transcription — to our AI provider, Groq, Inc., in order to generate the analysis and recommendations shown to you. Groq processes this content solely on our instructions, does not retain it, and does not use it to train models. We do not send your direct messages to any AI provider.
Usage data
We collect information about how you use Slydn — pages visited, features used, automation performance — to improve the product and to provide you with your analytics.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to ad networks.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the service and deliver the features you have configured
- To process payments and send transactional emails (receipts, plan changes)
- To send product updates and announcements (you can opt out any time)
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service
- To comply with applicable laws and Meta's Platform Policies
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
With service providers who help us operate the product. These providers process your data only on our instructions, under written contract, and may not use it for their own purposes, including training AI models:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Google Cloud Platform / Firebase) | Hosting, database, authentication, file storage | United States |
| Groq, Inc. | AI analysis of your Instagram content | United States |
| Razorpay Software Private Limited | Payment processing (billing data only) | India |
We update this list when our providers change.
With Meta when operating Instagram automations on your behalf — this is the nature of the integration you authorise.
With team members you invite to your Slydn workspace, subject to the permissions you configure.
When required by law, in response to valid legal process. We review every request from a public authority for legality, challenge requests we consider unlawful or overbroad, disclose only the minimum data necessary, and document each request and our response.
4. International data transfers
Crosshair Technologies LLP is established in India, and our infrastructure is located in the United States. Your personal data is therefore transferred to and processed in the United States.
Where data is transferred from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with our service providers, together with the technical measures described in the Security section, as the basis for that transfer.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
You can export your automations, templates, and activity logs at any time from your account settings.
6. Data deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- Disconnect Instagram — from Instagram Settings → Security → Apps and Websites, or from your Slydn workspace settings. This immediately revokes our access token. We delete the associated Instagram data, including stored messages, comments, and analytics, within 30 days.
- Delete your account — from your account settings, or by emailing office@slydn.com. We delete all personal data associated with your account within 30 days.
To request deletion without signing in, email office@slydn.com from the address on your account and we will confirm once deletion is complete.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at office@slydn.com.
8. European Economic Area and United Kingdom users
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you additional rights, and requires us to tell you the legal basis on which we process your data.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object at any time. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email office@slydn.com. We respond within one month.
